Kelbuild are honoured to be carrying out the refurbishment and extension of  Portumna Courthouse to transform it into a bright, open and welcoming public space which will include an event space and coffee dock.

At this stage of the program strip out work is complete internally and concrete floors have been poured and externally the pointing has been completed in preparation for the lime render which will be applied both internally and externally. Lime render is a natural plaster which allows the original fabric of the building to breathe, this is especially important in older buildings. During the next stage of the work the lath and lime ceilings will be restored and all windows will be refurbished and returned to working order.

Kelbuild are looking forward to bringing a public building back to life so that it can be enjoyed by locals and tourists in years to come.
